Utility: The QX80 has slightly less cargo space than the Navigator, but both SUVs can comfortably take 8 passengers. Interior: Both SUVs have impressive interior features, including the latest infotainment systems. With leather upholstery and heated seating, traveling in either SUV is a comfortable experience. Safety: Both SUVs also feature the latest safety features available. Price: The QX80 has an MSRP of between $72,700 and $87,450, depending on the trim, while the Navigator price is between $77,635 and $106,635. Though the specific price depends on the exact trim and features you choose, the QX80 is a much better value at the base level. -View INFINITI QX80 Inventory Experience The Luxury Of The INFINITI QX80 At INFINITI Of Cool Springs! When it comes servicing your car, INFINITI of Cool Springs is your local service center. Whether it's an oil change or brake service we have the staff and knowledge to accommodate all of your needs.

Why Servicing Your Vehicle at an Auto Dealer is Better Than a Mom-and-Pop Store

Finding the best location to get your car serviced can be frustrating. How do you know you’re getting a good deal in both service and budget? This is where an auto dealer comes into play. Unlike your average mom-and-pop store, auto dealers are able to provide a wider range of benefits in a shorter amount of time. If you ever dread the process of getting your car serviced, read on. We’ll talk about the benefits of a dealership vs. A mom-and-pop service shop. more Vehicle Protection Why would you want to spend tens of thousands of dollars on a vehicle only to leave it unprotected? Working with an auto dealer gives you access to high-end equipment and seasoned professionals to ensure your investment works year-round. Independent shops often don’t have access to the latest industry tools, meaning you could pay more for simple check-ups. Auto dealers are always on the cutting edge of technology, which gives you peace of mind in between all your other obligations. Trained Technicians Specialists give you greater value than generalists. While a mom-and-pop shop might have several basic features, an auto dealer shines in the smaller details. Trained technicians are required to have expertise in both electronics and auto repair. If you’re worried your car could be too advanced or too old, you can rest easy with an auto dealer. Before you service your vehicle, ask for a technician that’s trained by your preferred manufacturer. The Right Parts & Equipment Nothing is more agonizing than needing a specific part for your car, only to find out your auto repair shop is out of stock. Auto dealers are often more attentive than a mom-and-pop shop, keeping a strict schedule on parts and equipment for their customers. Since auto dealers work directly with specific manufacturers, you’ll always have access to specific equipment. Warranties & Guarantees A good warranty should give broad coverage and a strict timeline so you get the most out of your purchase. A mom-and-pop shop might not be familiar with the specific warranties and guarantees of your vehicle. An auto dealer will be able to attend to your warranties and then some. If you’re interested in extended service contract policies, ask your dealer for further details. Your auto dealer should take the frustration out of the car buying process. Our vast inventory and years of experience will easily match you to your next vehicle. Convenience Is your car making some odd noises at a strange hour? Are you worried your schedule is too busy for a check-up? Auto dealers pride themselves on being convenient and accessible at all times. While mom-and-pop shops often have convenient locations, they don’t always have the best hours. Auto dealers are frequently open throughout the week and often on weekends, though Sundays and holidays they’re usually closed. Price Competitive pricing is the key to a positive customer service experience. Mom-and-pop shops often have wildly fluctuating prices, while auto dealers tend to be more predictable. Keep in mind that the price you’ll expect often correlates to your mile warranty and the length of your warranty. The quality of your parts will also shift the price around, though it’s worth noting that paying more upfront is better than paying more later. Satisfaction Remember that your auto dealer wants you to walk away 100% happy. Anything less than completely satisfied and they’re more than willing to meet you halfway. Why service with a dealer? Because you’re going to get the best of all worlds in one spot. How do you choose who to trust with your oil change? Look for these five things!

You can’t avoid getting oil changes, but how do you choose the right oil change place? Does it really matter where you get your oil changed? Yes! When you choose an oil change place, there are a few things to look for to ensure that you and your vehicle will be taken care of well. more How to Choose an Oil Change Place Look for these five features when choosing an oil change place to take your vehicle: 1. Convenience Is the oil change place convenient for you? Ask these questions: How soon can you get in for an oil change? Will they cater to your vehicle’s specific needs? Will the technicians explain the process? How long will you have to wait? 2. Reliability The oil change place you choose should have a reliable team of techs who know what they’re doing. The team should be reliable, honest, and know what products are best for your vehicle. Unreliable shops might not even replace your filter—we’ve seen some poor practices where untrained techs will drain and replace the oil and nothing else. Related: Why Choose INFINITI of Cool Springs For Your Service Needs? 3. Cost And, of course, you want to consider an oil change shop’s prices. How much will they charge you? Will they hassle you for add-ons and unnecessary services? We’ve all been to an oil change place that pulls out your air filter, shows you how dirty it is, and explains that you need a replacement—but do you really, or are they trying to get a little bit more out of you? You shouldn’t choose an oil change place based on cost alone, but you should consider it along with these other four factors. 4. Reputation You can learn a lot about an oil change place by looking online. Always check out reviews and testimonials of an oil change shop online before scheduling a service! It’s also good to ask around—talk to your friends and family about where they go for oil changes. 5. Honesty Wherever you choose to get your oil change from, they’ll need to make a living. Their goal is to make money, but do they do it honestly? Does the oil change place genuinely care about their customers and their vehicles? The best oil change places will know how to give you the best service without tacking on unnecessary charges or products. With many predatory businesses out there, especially when it comes to vehicle services, finding an honest company is crucial. Where to Get Your Oil Changed: INFINITI of Cool Springs At INFINITI of Cool Springs, our technicians check all of the boxes. Convenience—Get your oil change in an hour or less! Reliability—Our techs are properly trained and experienced with every make and model. Cost—Our oil change prices are affordable, and we don’t sacrifice quality for it. Reputation— See for yourself! INFINITI QX80 Rated Most Appealing Large SUV

INFINITI's biggest model has been getting some well-deserved accolades lately. J.D. Power recently named the INFINITI QX80 as one of the Power Quality Contenders for Large Premium SUV on the market today, beating out an impressive list of competitors. The award comes as part of the annual J.D. Power U.S. Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) Study, which is closely watched by many in the automotive industry. more For the study, J.D. Power contacts vehicle owners and asks them to evaluate 77 unique attributes, providing a well-rounded view of each model. Those responses are used to create an overall APEAL Index score, which involves a 1,000-point scale. INFINITI is proud that the QX80 performed exceptionally well with a score of 877 points for 2019. p>Claiming the top spot in the APEAL Study is a big deal. It shows what actual owners think about a variety of aspects concerning their vehicle. Among the areas of feedback J.D. Power collects are safety features, appearance, performance, comfort and even small details that only someone highly familiar with a vehicle would notice. </p More specifically, INFINITI QX80 owners cited the ride/handling qualities of their vehicle, plus its spacious interior and stylish exterior, as the top reasons they made the decision to purchase it. The integration of tech-forward features—like Brentwood Sports apps for keeping up with live scores, training, and team schedules—adds to its appeal for active families and sports enthusiasts. That the QX80 beat out some competitors that offer impressive features in those same areas is a testament to the luxury SUV's overall compelling package A number of specific features help make the INFINITI QX80 a real standout among full-size luxury sport utility models. The available INFINITI Hard Drive Navigation System helps drivers easily and accurately find the best way to reach their destination. The optional Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection (MOD) system takes quite a bit of the anxiety of out navigating through tight areas or backing out of driveways. Drivers get a clear view of obstacles that are on every side of the SUV, not only avoiding damaging the body but also preventing injury to anyone walking nearby. The MOD technology immediately sounds an alert if an animal or child were to dart behind the QX80, further increasing everyone's safety. Dramatic exterior styling helps the 2019 INFINITI QX80 stand apart from other SUVs. It has distinctly contoured LED headlights, chrome fender vents, plus an overall look that is like no other. Plenty of comforts can come with the SUV. A Bose Premium Audio System can be added, which has 13 speakers for a full and luxurious sound quality. There's also a Bose Cabin Surround Sound System with 15 speakers and digital 5.1 decoding, satisfying even the most discerning of listeners. The interior of the INFINITI QX80 has been designed to deliver comfort for everyone, not just the driver and front passenger. The three rows of seating can accommodate up to eight people at a time, with plenty of legroom and headroom on the third row for even taller adults. Everyone enjoys supple leather upholstery, plus excellent padding that makes even the longest drives pleasant. Noise insulation, including acoustic glass, is used in strategic areas, helping eliminate the drone of freeway travel. Available wood trim pieces and an Ultrasuede headliner further add to the elevated ambiance that places everyone in a sea of luxury. When it comes to power and capability, the QX80 delivers in a big way. The 5.6-liter V-8 engine hammers out 400 horsepower, which is more than enough to tackle big hills, snowy terrain and freeway onramps with ease. When properly equipped, the vehicle can tow up to 8,500 pounds, which is more than enough to haul most boats, campers and large trailers. Thinking that you want to take a test drive? 2018 INFINITI Q50 RED SPORT 400 Sedan Exterior | Driver's side profile in Dynamic Sunstone Red

The New 2018 INFINITI Q50 Is Here

Every car company has to carefully consider what they want to do to make their new models a big hit with drivers. Too much change, and they risk alienating their core customers. Too little change, and they risk getting labeled as stale or unimaginative. The INFINITI Q50 was such a hit that the manufacturer hasn't anything drastic for 2018. However, what they did change will come as welcome news to all interested parties. more A Fresh Look An INFINITI is a truly beautiful car no matter how you look at, and the quality is noticeable from first glance. However, they're certainly not the only cars on the road either, and it's understandable for the casual driver to mistake an INFINITI for another car brand. This car manufacturer has big plans to ensure that doesn't happen anymore, and the Q50 has new headlights, taillights, and a corner splitter to deliver a little more distinction to pedestrians and drama for the driver. The air intakes and the grille sides create a framing effect for the lighting that highlights the eye-like headlights even more. The new LED accent lighting not only gives the driver more visibility on the road, but also ensures more head-turns when on the go. Trims and Tones Drivers noticed that the trim levels of different models looked too similar to each other, so this year INFINITI did something about it. For 2018, the Q50 3.0t Sport got a nip and a tuck, and now features a wider bumper and lower air intakes. It will also come with a two-tone rear diffuser that looks at home next to the dual exhaust. The Sport also features a new dashboard surrounded by leather, chrome accents to highlight the car's luxury, and more artful signature stitching. The styling only gets more aggressive as you climb the ladder all the way up to the Q50 RED Sports 400. Software and Hardware INFINITI has made changes to the Q50's software to improve the shifting and the steering for the driver. The 2018 version also eliminates as much wind and road noise as possible for a smoother and more comfortable drive. What you may notice most if you choose to test drive a Q50 is the spinal support seats. This feature protects all the muscles of your back, making it a welcome feature for all those who want to ward off chronic pain. Safety and Performance Most car companies have their own brand of autonomous technology. In the past, INFINITI has used the ProPILOT for many of their safety features, but 2018 is the first year that all features will be under the ProPILOT umbrella. Drivers can count on the available lane departure warnings, collision assistance (both forward and back), and adaptive cruise control to lend a hand when drivers can't quite react in time. The Q50 will also add a Direct Response Hybrid powertrain this year, with 360 horsepower at 36 miles per gallon for both power and efficiency.

2018 INFINITI Q50

What's New in the Refreshed 2018 INFINITI Q50

The INFINITI Q50 has been refreshed for the 2018 model year; and the new model debuted at the Geneva Motor Show. The new version features two different body styles and four trim levels. While most of the changes are on the outside, INFINITI did add new driver support technology. more Interior Changes Each trim level has some interior changes to make the vehicle more desirable in the higher trim levels. Unlike most luxury vehicles, which feature only one trim level, but several options, INFINITI is going with something a bit different. Some of the differences you'll see include the type of leather for the various trim levels and the amount of technology that is standard on each trim level. For example, the Red Sport 400 will feature red stitching in the upholstery. ProPILOT ProPILOT is new to INFINITI, but to Nissan. This package, which is available on select trim levels, includes active lane control, direct adaptive steering, distance control assist, intelligent cruise control, bind spot warning, direct adaptive steering, backup collision intervention, distance control assist, forward emergency braking, lane departure warning and prevention and predictive forward collision warning. The previous models featured many of these safety features, but they weren't packaged as "ProPILOT." The Exterior The Pure and Luxe trim levels are almost identical to the 2017 model year Q50. However, the Sport and Red Sport 400 trim levels have more changes. All trim levels have an upgraded grille with more detail in the mesh pattern, giving all the trim levels for this model a more aggressive stance. All trim levels also come standard with LED headlights, which used to be optional, to allow for better visibility. The rear taillights are thinner, much like the earlier version of the Q60 coupe. The Sport trim level gets an "S" after the Q50, and both the Sport and Red Sport feature a new bumper with lower scoops and wider air intakes. Both also feature a Formula-inspired airfoil. The Red Sport 400 also adds twin exhaust visual enhancements via a dark metallic trim around the exhaust cutouts. The 400 also features its own 19-inch wheels with a thinner spoke pattern. Engines When you choose the 2018 INFINITI Q50, you have a choice of four engines. The standard engine is a 3.0-liter twin turbo that puts out 300 horsepower. The Red Sport 400 has this engine, but it makes 400 horsepower. Also available are the 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo engine, which makes 208 horsepower and a 3.5-liter hybrid motor. The hybrid motor and lithium-ion battery make 360 horsepower. The Q50 also features a dynamic digital suspension with adaptive and electronic dampers so that the driver is able to customize performance and ride quality. For better cornering, INFINITI revised the front and rear stabilizer bars. Oversized fender vents are functional in order to divert air to the engine to improve its performance. The underside of the 2018 INFINITI QX80 Monograph Concept is protected by a specialized underbody cover that also helps improve the vehicle's aerodynamics. The aerofoil located between its tailpipes is designed to improve the airflow in the wake of the SUV. 2018 INFINITI QX80 Monograph Concept Performance Expect the 2018 INFINITI QX80 Monograph Concept to have a 5.6L V-8 engine that churns out 400 horsepower as well as 413 lb-ft of torque. Powerful and Smooth Handling In addition, the designers of the INFINITI QX80 Monograph Concept used a body-on-frame Nissan platform to provide the ability to tow up to 8,500 pounds. The independent rear suspension -- which is also self-leveling and manufactured with multiple links -- is designed to help make driving both with and without loads smooth and nearly effortless. While INFINITI has not revealed the specifics of the interior of its QX80 Monograph Concept, it is expected to be as luxurious and laden with features as one would expect from a flagship concept vehicle. Though it shares platforms and drivetrains with the Nissan brand, consumers will be hard pressed to make a visual connection between the two with the INIFINITI QX80 Monograph Concept.

INFINITI InTouch

INFINITI InTouch Email Setup

Cars are more connected today than ever before. While once we had to ask our passenger to kindly change radio stations or switch CDs, today, with a single voice command, we can play our favorite songs. In years past, we had to strap bulky GPS devices to our windshield to get directions. Now, it’s as easy as searching via your smartphone. more Being connected means we always have access to social media, texting, and yes, even emails. Of course, the one place where checking emails doesn’t happen is in the car. At least, until now. With the INFINITI InTouch system, you can check your personal and professional emails while you drive. To keep this safe, the InTouch system works via voice command so you never have to take your hands off the wheel or your eyes off the road. What Is INFINITI InTouch? INFINITI InTouch is smart email access from your INFINITI vehicle. You have to set up your email address(es) ahead of time, which we’ll explain shortly. Then, when you want to read an important new email, the INFINITI InTouch system will do it for you aloud. You can choose which emails you want read to you by scrolling through your messages. You can type out the “to,” “CC,” “BCC,” fields manually or go through your contacts list to find the correct recipients. InTouch even has a drafts folder, a sent folder, and a trash bin. You can make your own personalized folders for storing and organizing emails. How Does It Work? The INFINITI InTouch system comes prepackaged with your INFINITI, but you can choose whether to install it. To do so, first download the INFINITI InTouch app. This is free. Open the app on your smartphone. Then, go to the Bluetooth settings in your vehicle. Make sure your smartphone’s Bluetooth is turned on as well. If it is, connect your phone to your INFINITI. If that works, you can then begin using the INFINITI InTouch Email App. If you haven’t used this app before, you will be asked to link your email account(s) to the app. As of this writing, INFINITI InTouch supports Outlook.com, Yahoo!, and Gmail. The Manual Setup will let you know if any other email types are supported. Once you finish the initial setup, you should be taken to your email inbox. Any time you want to check your email when you’re driving, you can access the InTouch app and do just that. What about Privacy? You also have the option to create a PIN number, or Personal Identification Number. This is recommended if you’re not the only driver of the vehicle. Your PIN should be unique. Every time the vehicle is turned on, a PIN is required to check email. If you make multiple trips in one day, for example, and want to check your email several times, you’d have to input your PIN that many times.
